Day 1
Cape Town
Day 2
Cape Town – Cape peninsula
Enjoy Chapman’s Peak; this coastal road is considered one of the more scenic in the world. Proceed to the Nature Reserve of Cape of Good hope and reach Cape Point, where it is believed that the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean meet. Here you can admire more than 1100 different species of fynbos plants including 25 different kinds of protea and an astonishing 52 orchid species, you will have a good chance to see mountain zebra, ostriches, tortoises and different kind of antelopes. If you love to walk you cannot miss the breath taking trail that goes from the Cape of Good Hope till the starting point of the Flying Dutchman funicular.
Continue with the visit of Boulders Beach with its Jackass Penguin colony.

Day 3
Cape Town
The visit of the Mother City start with Bo Kaap, the historic area that became home to many Muslims and freed slaves with the abolition of slavery. Colourful houses, steep cobbled streets, the muezzin’s calls to prayer and the smell of spicy food worth this visit!
Proceed to Green Market square, the parliament and the Company’s gardens. In the afternoon visit Kirstenbosch Botanical garden: an area of 528 hectares of which 36 are cultivated. Proteas, cycads, daisy, remarkable trees, succulent and birds will leave you breathless.
With the cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain recently proclaimed one of the 7 Natural Wonder on earth. Upon reaching the summit, explore the many viewpoints, from which spectacular views of the Cape Peninsula and Cape Town will be enjoyed during sunset.

Day 4
Cape Town – Wine Route – Die Kelders
Today visit the wine route: visit Stellenbosch with its oak-lined streets and beautiful Cape Dutch architecture. Enjoy the visit to one of the historic wineries in Stellenbosch followed by a wine tasting.
Travels to the town of Franschhoek, which was established by the first French settlers in South Africa. Here you will find some of South Africa’s finest restaurant where you can enjoy a light lunch.
Afterwards, your guide will take you through Franschhoek Pass till the next destination.

Go for a whale watching excursion! You can admire the Right Whale only few meters from the boat, it is a breath taking experience!!! This activity is seasonal and weather dependent therefore not included in the price.

Day 7 & 8
Knysna
During this two days, visit the most beautiful part of the garden route; the magnificent Robberg Nature Reserve with its seal colony, Plettenberg Bay and Tsitsikamma National Park. Be amazed by the beauty of the landscape and generosity of the nature that conserve some enormous podocarpus trees in one of the most lush forest in the country. The birdlife is prolific!
Go for a 3 hours excursion to Fetherbed Nature Reserve, you will cross Knysna Lagoon on a ferry and proceed on the western side of Knysna head. On a 4×4 vehicle you will reach the view point on top of the reserve. Here you will see the blue duiker and the gorgeous Knysna Lourie. In this area the Coelacanths, a prehistoric fish that were thought to have gone extinct in the Late Cretaceous, around 66 million years ago, were rediscovered in 1938.
Dinners at leisure. Your guide is available to take you to one of the many restaurants in Knysna, if you wish.

Day 9
Johannesburg – Ghandi house
Farewell to your guide in the late morning and fly to Johannesburg where you will meet by one of our representative.
Tonight you will stay in one of the many houses where Ghandi lived while in South Africa. The house has been transformed in a retreat that preserve the full spirit of the Mahatma Ghandi, a very inspiring place. You will enjoy a vegetarian dinner prepared by the in house chef.

Day 10, 11 and 12
Timbavati Private Game Reserve
Our representative will take you to the airport for your flight to Hoedspruit and the close Timbavati Private Game Reserve which is part of the greater Kruger National Park.
After lunch get ready for the first game drive. Expert ranger and tracker will take you in open safari vehicle to a close contact with the wide variety of wildlife. We expect to see all the BIG 5 (Elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros, lion and leopard) together with cheetahs and hopefully wild dogs. After sundowner, return to the lodge with the help of spotlight and search for nocturnal animals such as pangolin, genet, honey badger, civet to mention a few. Dinner is served under the African sky.
The following days have an early wake up call for a coffee’ and departure for a new game drive. In this time of the day the animal are more active and the possibilities to see predators in action are bigger. Brunch at the lodge.
You have the possibility to go for a walking safari escorted by an armed ranger, just after brunch. Your guide will teach to identify different animals tracks and learn about the medicinal use of plants and traditions of the tribes that for centuries shared this land with big mammals.
The lodge has got also an excellent SPA, a gym and a very well stocked curio shop with African art.

Timbavati Private Game Reserve – Johannesburg airport
Time to go for another safari and enjoy brunch. Meet your driver and reach the airport for your flight to Johannesburg Airport where you will arrive in the early afternoon.
