Day 2 and 3

Okonjima – Etosha National Park

In the early morning you will have an exciting guided game drive that will bring you very close to some leopards of the reserve.
Enjoy breakfast and depart towards Etosha National Park.

At the gate you will start to see some of the 114 different mammal species that are recorded here including the endangered black rhino and the black faced impala. The elephants are the biggest of Africa although their tusks are small due to a diet low in minerals.
The Etosha Park is formed by 22.270 square km of salt pan, desert, savanna and woodland.
During your three days here, explore the southern part of the salt pan where the animals gather in huge numbers around the waterhole. Return to the camp at sunset.
During the night, the waterhole situated in front of the camp is lit up by a flood light and it is possible to view many animals that during the night come to drink. The most common sightings are black rhinoceros, giraffes and predators like lions, hyenas, jackal and with a bit of luck, leopard.
